How to Measure for a PE Kit?

Making sure your child has the right fit for their PE kit is important for their safety and comfort when participating in physical activity. Measuring your child correctly will also ensure that they get the most out of their kit and can perform to the best of their ability.

There are a few things you need to take into account when measuring for a PE kit, including, chest size, and waist size. To measure your child's chest size, wrap a measuring tape around their chest just under their arms. Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight, and note the measurement. To measure your child's waist size, wrap a measuring tape around their waist at their natural waistline. Again, make sure the tape is snug but not too tight, and note the measurement.

Once you have these measurements, you can consult our size chart to find the right fit for your child's PE kit. Make sure to take into account any growth spurts they may have had recently, and choose a size that will allow them to move and play comfortably.
