The easy peasy way to teach your child to tie a school tie.
Ask your child to pop the tie around their neck making the wide side longer than the narrow side. Then take the wide end and wrap it around the narrow end under and back over the narrow piece. Next, take the thick part up through the neck loop and back under through the knot you've created.
Hold the narrow end in one hand and pull the wide end to tighten the knot. Wiggle the knot up into place at the top of the shirt.
