Cross the laces over, pull one end underneath the other lace, and pull both laces apart in opposite directions to create a simple knot to start with. Then create a longish loop on one side of the laces, wrap the other lace around the base of this loop whilst holding it secure.
As the lace is wrapped around, move it under the loop created, and create the second loop with this lace.
Pull both loops tight to finish the knots.
