The feedback was exceptionally positive with the vast majority of those who tested the products stating that they would buy Trutex garments following the trial and that they would recommend Trutex to friends who have school aged children. One parent responding to whether or not they would recommend Trutex stated, "I would absolutely recommend Trutex to my friends. No other uniform my son has had has measured up to the demands he places on them as well as this one".
When questioned how the uniform was bearing up after a number of washes, several parents commented on how white the shirts remained with one parent highlighting that the shirts stayed whiter for longer compared with her previous ones which went grey and shrank in the wash. This particular parent also stated, “I would buy packets and packets of new shirts which I now see as a false economy" In addition there were numerous comments on how the cotton jumpers had maintained their shape and not bobbled at all during the trial.
When asked to compare the quality of Trutex product with other uniform, a strong majority stated it was superior or at least as good. One parent commented that the quality made some of the items they have purchased in the past seem "laughable", with another claiming it made the material of the trousers they currently buy seem "like paper"
Children loved the uniform too, with almost all saying that they liked at least one of the items. A number of parents even stated that the cotton knitwear was being worn by choice outside of school!
The trial also provided some extremely insightful suggestions in terms of new product development, which will help us create the most appropriate range of schoolwear for 2012.
